Finnish Transport Agency chooses Affecto to continue as the operator of the national road and street database

Karttakeskus Oy, the GIS service unit of Affecto, will provide the maintenance and information service of Digiroad for the Finnish Transport Agency. Digiroad is a national database which contains precise and accurate data on the location of all roads and streets in Finland as well as their most important physical features, covering a total of 483 000 km.

The value of the three-year agreement signed by the Finnish Transport Agency and Karttakeskus is approx. 2 million euros including the add-on work and the agreement includes two optional years. The Finnish Transport Agency chose Karttakeskus based on a national tender process.
