Affecto Norway AS provides Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solution to Grieg Seafood ASA

- The Agreement with Grieg Seafood, one of the largest players in the Norwegian aquaculture industry, is a milestone that positions Affecto even stronger in the west of Norway and in the farming industry, said Regional Director Bjørn Arvid Sætren in Affecto. Affecto BI solution will help Grieg Seafood Group to become a more integrated food company by providing coordinated business information across countries and business units.

Affecto will provide analysis, design, implementation and operation services associated with the new BI solution. The contract is a Phase 2 of the implementation of a global BI strategy for Grieg Seafood, and runs until the summer of 2012.

Grieg Seafoods BI solution will gather information from Norway and Canada and the UK and will give the company a common information system for global reporting and analysis across all the company's value chain and across multiple time zones. The solution that comes to Grieg Seafood is based on technology from Business Objects, Informatica and Microsoft.
In order to make business information available in all the environments where users work in, be it iPhone, iPad, Powerpoint, PDF, Excel, Intranet or other platforms, released a great strategic potential.
